The Saerlings design aesthetic is very much fairy tale and folklore-inspired. Our Blythes inhabit the Shire of Wibbleton and get up to many, Many adventures.
☆The artwork of Hilda Boswell greatly inspires the Saerling creative process; her book The Treasures of Fairy Tales was a firm favourite as a child. The illustrations are just so beautiful.
☆often sitting outdoors imagining creations and watching the visiting creatures and the world go by. Embracing seasonal colours from nature within our blythe millinery work.
☆as a huge fan of dracula; sometimes, there may even be a hint of the vampire aesthetic to be discovered in our designs.
☆The Saerlings story
☆First encountering Blythe as a delicate 7-year-old in the playground at school, I ran away screaming.
I did not think about her again for many years.
☆Then, 20 years ago she came into my world once more,
we travelled the world Orange & Spice, Cousin Olivia and our family.
☆We now have a sizeable doll family made by artists from all over the world,
all of whom are responsible for the desire for the saerlings to be imagined.
☆The saerlings live in Wibbleton, there are many areas of the Shire with different populations.
We have resident Fairies, Elves, magical creatures and witches to name a few.
each individual has their own story to tell.
☆Once they are created and have developed their skills, yes, each has a skill; they are ready to leave and join you.
